Tours are offered every Monday and Wednesday evening at 7:30pm, except on holidays.
Rouge Valley Health System - Ajax and Pickering Site
Tours of the birthing facilities at Rouge Valley Ajax and Pickering are available for expectant parents on Monday evenings at 8 p.m. (excluding holiday Mondays). The tour lasts just over an hour. There is no need to pre-register. If you are interested, simply meet us at the hospital for the start of the tour. Tours begin at the west entrance, nearby the emergency department.

Offers hospital tour as a part of series of four birthing classes specially designed for expectant mothers and their partners. Classes are held Monday - Friday, over four weeks, from 7:00-9:30pm.

Durham Farm and Rural Family Resources
These Early Learning Centres offer friendly meeting places for parents, grandparents and caregivers with children 0-6 years of age in their care. All programs are free of charge. The centres are places where adults and children come to play together, meet new friends, gain skills and share ideas. Centres are available in Beaverton, Cannington, Sunderland and Uxbridge.
EarlyON Family and Child Centres
EarlyON Centres are a place for children up to the age of six and their parents and caregivers to take part in programs and activities together. They bring together in one location information about children's services and programs in the community. If you have questions about your child's development, or want to know how to get information or services for your child aged 0-6 in your area contact your local centre.

The aim of the drop-in support group is to help mothers ensure greater success with feeding their babies the natural way. The group meets at Rouge Valley Ajax and Pickering on Tuesdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Call for more information.

In addition to providing in-hospital support for new mothers, the clinic also offers prenatal assessment for women planning to breastfeed and follow-up and support for mothers in the community. The clinic hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., daily. Clinic visits are for mother, baby and a support person. Our breastfeeding support services are free for all mothers who have given birth at Rouge Valley Health System. Please note that one-to-one consultations are by appointment only.
